what is this?
First and foremost, this is not a blog. We have no intention of spewing random thoughts that enter our heads about the MVC onto this page in a stream-of-consciousness style — that’s what we believe blogs do. Sure, we’ll have opinions and will state them at times, but only in well-supported columns like you’d expect to find in a newspaper. There will be no proclamations of things like, “Oh my god, Evansville sucks, I can’t believe they blew that game, etc.” This is simply not that kind of site.
We’d like you to look at us as you would the writers of the local paper that covers your favorite team. We hope to be in regular contact with each and every MVC team, from first-place to last-place.
Can we guarantee every team will receive equal coverage? No — our apologies, but a lack of manpower and flat-out common sense dictates that a first-place team will get more attention than one in last-place. But every team will be covered in some fashion. The mission of this site is to get more attention for the whole of the MVC, not just the teams that may be doing well this year.
We’ll have feature stories on every team (assuming every team will talk to us — only time will tell what problems we may have on this end). We’ll recap each week’s coaches teleconference. We’ll have a weekly notebook analyzing how what happened around the NCAA affects the MVC. And, of course, we’ll be previewing and wrapping games.
There is one disclaimer, however. Unfortunately, this isn’t a full-time job for us. Other events will arise from time to time that may force us to post later than usual, or possibly not post at all (though we hope this doesn’t happen) on a given day.

Hey guys I saw your link posted on the panthernation.com page, and checked out the site. Looks good. Its nice to see more MVC fans are out there and that there is some nice Valley centered coverage. Nice site, although it would be nicer if you would use the logos for ALL 10 Valley teams. The Indiana schools don’t deserve the snub. ISU has gone farther than any Valley team and Evansville has had a great tradition for many years.

I’m not sure what you mean, but my guess is that you have an 800×600 display, thereby cutting off the edges of our logo (the Evansville and Indiana St. logos are first and last, respectively). If you enlarge your display you will see it properly.
