Bob Wothe:
Bob was born and raised (and currently resides) in Fond du Lac, WI. He graduated from high school in May 2002 and set off for Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, with a computer science degree in mind. One transfer and three short years of college later, he graduated from the University of Minnesota in May 2005 with a B.A. in history and a B.A. in journalism. In May 2007, he completed his Wisconsin Teacher’s Certification Program and is certified to teach grades 6-12. Now 23, he’s currently a sports reporter covering high school sports at the Daily News in West Bend, Wis.
Before he started at the Daily News, Bob covered University of Minnesota women’s soccer, men’s basketball, and men’s and women’s tennis for the Minnesota Daily, a newspaper with a daily circulation of nearly 30,000. While covering Gophers basketball, he was awarded third place in the Minnnesota Associated Press sportswriting contest in the game story category for newspapers with a circulation of over 20,000. He also has written for the Northeaster and NorthNews newspapers in Minneapolis.
Zach Trexler:
Zach was born and raised in Omaha, NE, home of the Creighton Bluejays. His schooling didn’t take him too far away from home, as he attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. He met a girl, fell in love, and as they say, the rest is history. Now 28, he currently resides in Colorado with his wife and 8-year-old son.
Zach has been out of the journalism business for a while. Though he graduated with a B.A. in journalism, his post-college career led him into the then-booming computer field. This site will fill the void that’s been missing since college.
Guys, I’d love for you to email me just to talk some valley basketball. I am a Big Ten guy myself but I love and very much appreciate what the Valley has to offer. A hotbed of hoops and terrific home courts.

Zach, I live in Chicago and this new bar opened called “Kirkwood” that is all Hoosiers and Huskers. Basically, a “Big Red” thing!
