Is it November yet?
College basketball is an exciting sport with tons of great action.
But the offseason can be downright boring.
Nevertheless, we here at the Ledger feel a journalistic duty to keep you faithful readers (all three of you) informed on some of the latest news happening around the conference. Here goes:
Bradley: The Braves website reports that Jeremy Fears, a member of the Mid-American Conference All-Freshman and All-Tournament team in 2005 as an Ohio Bobcat, officially joined the team back on August 24. Fears, a 6-foot-4 guard from Joliet, Ill., averaged 11 points per game as a freshman and 9.6 points per game before leaving Ohio after 19 games last season. He will have to sit out a year, but will provide Bradley with a big boost in the final two years his eligibility.
